Kaya FC Academy officially announces the new personnel appointments.
After 8 years of heading the small-sided teams at Kaya FC Academy, Coach Alfred Osei has been named as Academy Director with immediate effect. Osei has been instrumental in developing everything from the Kindersoccer program up to the U11s and has been extremely successful in this role and will now oversee all day-to-day aspects of the football academy.
In addition, Ms. Dhen Alegre will move from Administrative Manager to Director of Football Operations. Alegre will be responsible for all off-field business operations as well as working alongside Osei regarding all on-field activities.
The restructure allows for former Academy Director Chris Greatwich to work as the club’s Executive Director and will focus on the strategic management of the Academy. Greatwich said of the organizational restructure:
“It is with great pleasure that we are able to reward both Alfred and Dhen with the opportunity to drive the academy forward with innovative and fresh ideas and they already have some great initiatives in the pipeline. The two of them have a proven track record of delivering on and off the field across their time with the academy, and it is an exciting time for the program as a whole.”
In his new role, Osei said:
“I thank God for this opportunity given to me by Kaya Academy. Moving up to the Academy Director role is a huge responsibility and I am honored and grateful to the management for entrusting me with this and I will give my very best. Thank you all.”
Alegre was equally excited about her new assignment, claiming:
“I am looking forward to taking on new responsibilities and helping the company achieve its goals. I am proud to be part of Kaya since it was founded in 2012 and thank you so much for your support and belief in me over the years.
To God be All the Glory ~ Una Kaya!”
